In today’s  competitive scenario students come to B- Schools with dreams of great job opportunities. The cell acts as an interface between the Industry and the Department .Moreover the result of the consistent efforts put in by the students to groom themselves to face the Competition in the Industry. It nurtures Industry Institute interaction, by organizing and coordinating frequent trainings and projects of industrial relevance for the students. The cell also makes available updated database and job profile of various companies and thus helps each student analyze and choose a company of his interest.

The Placement Committee is the sole student body responsible for carrying out all placement related activities. Some of the major tasks of the body are outlined below.

  1. Placement Brochure:  The importance stems from the fact that the Brochure forms the face of the Institute before the corporate houses. The Committee is involved in deciding the theme, design and the content of the Brochure. Only a look at the Brochure may make you  realize the amount of creativity, intellect and effort that goes into bringing it to life.

  1. Corporate Visits: The Committee is the driving force behind the strong relationship that the college maintains with the corporate world. The purpose  is both to strengthen the existing relationships with the corporate world as well as to invite new recruiters to the Campus.

  1. Placements – The Final Shot: This is the time for which each soul on campus waits eagerly and brings in its fold many curiosities, anxieties and fears. This is the time when the real ability and skills of the Placement Committee comes into play. Everything required for placements, right from slotting companies and arranging the necessary infrastructure to conducting this highly taxing and nerve-racking exercise is done by the Committee with close guidance from faculty members. Whether an interview is scheduled at  any time a Committee member will manage it all. And yet, the entire process is fully democratic and is carried out, so as to keep student expectations and goals in mind. As a part and parcel of the Placement exercise come both exuberance of sweet success as well as emotional spillovers. The T&P Cell is the one that lives through all this and converts this final shot into achievement.
