SIGHT SEEING PLACES OF INTEREST Hamirpur is in the centre of Himachal Pradesh. The famous international tourist place Manali is about 170 km east of Hamirpur and is well connected by National highway (NH-70). Religious place Rewalsar about 60 km and Bhootnath, Tarana Devi temples in Mandi town are on the way to Manali. The Famous shaktipeeth mata Jawalaji (40 kms), Chintpurni (80 kms), Brijeshwari (70 kms), Chamunda Devi (90 kms), Bagalamukhi (55kms), Baba Balaknat (40 kms), Shahtalai (50 kms) and Budhist Monastry at Mcleodganj (100kms), Shobha Singh Art Gallary near Palampur , Kangra art museum, Dharamshala are few nearby tourist places. Kangra fort of Maharaja Sansar Chand is about 70 kms from Hamirpur. Govind sagar lake at Bilaspur is about 60 kms and Maharana Paratap sagar lake is at a distance of about 110 kms from Hamirpur. Bhakara dam near Nangal is about 20 kms from Una. Famous sikh shrine Anandpur sahib on the way from Chandigarh to Hamirpur, and is almost 40 kms from Una and shakti peeth Naina Devi is about 25 kms from Anandpur Sahib.
