This is great and urgent need to increase and upgrade the defense production within the country, this was message given by Maj. Gen. P. N. Koul who inaugurated the workshop on Competent International Marketing Strategies (CIMS-10) for Indian defense systems at NIT Hamirpur today.
The inaugural function was also graced by Prof. Mithileshwar Jha, Joint Director IIM Banglore, Dr. Anuradha Reddy, Jt. Director DRDO, Prof. I.K. Bhat Director NIT Hamirpur.Many senior scientists and heads of various research  labs of DRDO and keynote speakers from IISc and IIM are attending the two day workshop on 15th -16th April 2010.
In all about 50 delegates from across the countries are participating in the workshop organized by mechanical engineering and management Departments. Jointly .during the workshop strategies for marketing the Defense products at international level shall be deliberated and the agreed outcomes of the brainstorming shall be submitted to competent bodies for implementation .
