Inauguration of Neelkanth Boys Hostel

Hon’ble Chairman Union Public Service Commission Prof. D P Agrawal has inaugurated the newly constructed Neelkanth Boys Hostel in NIT, Campus on 10/07/2010. It is a five storeyed building with total area of 11000 Sqmt with estimated cost of Rs. 1200 lacs. Total capacity of this hostel is 450 students.  On this occasion Dr. P G Periasamy, Chairman, Dharani Group of Industries, Dr. R L Chauhan, Chairman, BOG and Prof. I K Bhat Director NIT Hamirpur were also present along with NIT Staff and Students. Plantation is also done in the Neelkanth Hostel Campus by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Chairman BOG and Director NIT, Hamirpur . Staff and Students also participated in plantation.
