6 Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K students Department of Higher Education, MHRD, West Block-1,Wing 6, 2nd Floor, R.K. Puram, Sector-I, New Delhi-110 066 Tuition Fees upto Rs. 1.25 lakhs P.A + Hostel Fee and incidentals will also be given. The ceiling for this will be Rs. 1 lakh P.A. Students belonging to the State of Jammu & Kashmir, appearing for class XII or equivalent exam. Through the State Board of Jammu & Kashmir pursuing Engineering Degree Govt./ other non-Govt. reputed institutes, located outside J&K, would be eligible for scholarship under the scheme. 7 Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students Department of Higher Education, MHRD, West Block-1,Wing 6, 2nd Floor, R.K. Puram, Sector-I, New Delhi-110 066 10,000/-, 12,000/- P.A All B.Tech/B.Arch students who secure more than 80% marks in +2 examination. Students who passed their +2 exam from CBSE may directly apply to CBSE, New Delhi and others who passed +2 from other than CBSE board i.e. State Boards may apply for the said scholarship through their State Board. 8 Prime Minister’s Merit Scholarship Ministry of Defence, Kendriya Sainik Board, PM Scholarship Scheme, West Block IV, Wing V R.K. Puram, New Delhi-66 Rs. 1250/- P.M for Boys and Rs. 1500/- P.M for Girls a) Wards & widows of CPFs personnel died in harness. b) Wards of ex-CPFs personnel disabled while on duty. c) Wards & widows of Ex-CPFs personnel (Below Officer Rank i.e. upto the rank of Subedar Major/ Inspector only) Academic requirement:- 60% marks in +2 Exam. For renewal in subsequent yr 50% marks each year. Application forms reached from eligible candidates latest by 31st July of each year.
9 Centrally sponsored Scholarship Scheme of Post Matric Directorate (HE) of concerned States Maintenance Allowance Day Scholar & Hostler For (SC/ST) 550/-PM , 1,200/-PM For (OBC) 350/-PM , 750/-PM + reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees. SC/ST/OBC students are eligible to apply for the same after Advt./ announcement by their state govt. in the leading news papers of the state and through their respective websites and other media outfits.(criteria – as per State norms)
10 Post Matric S/ship for SC/ ST/OBC (under Centrally sponsored S/Ship Scheme) Director, Higher Education Shimla, Himachal Pradesh Maintenance Allowance Day Scholar & Hostler For (SC/ST) 550/-PM , 1,200/-PM For (OBC) 350/-PM , 750/-PM + reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees. 17 ACC Scholarship ACC Cement, Barmana Distt. Bilaspur (HP) Rs. 1000/- P.M Bonafide Himachali Students who are studying in Engineering stream at anywhere India (NITs, IITs & Other engineering colleges) and secured more than 75 marks in +2 examination with valid score in IIT (JEE) are eligible to apply for the same.
18 CBSE Scholarship The Deputy Secretary (Admn & Vigilance),Scholarship Division, Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Kendra,2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi-110301 Rs. 1000/- P.M (The scholarship would be paid for 10 months in an academic year). 19 NTPC Scholarship AGM. (HR & CC), NTPC Ltd., NTPC Bhawan, SCOPE Complex, Core – 7, Lodi Road, New Delhi – 110 003 The scholarship is admissible from the second year till the final year subject to the condition that the student meets the minimum qualifying criterion for success in each year. The amount of scholarship is Rs.1500/- P.M. Students belonging to SC/ST/Physically Challenged categories (Visually Handicapped/ Hearing Handicapped/ Orthopaedically Handicapped) and pursuing full time degree course in Engineering in the disciplines of Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics / Telecommunication from a college/ university/ institute recognized by the Govt. of India and should be in the Second Year and have successfully completed First Year.

22 Coal India Scholarship Scheme Detail of scheme is availablewww.coalindia.in Re-imbursement of Tuition fees, hostel fees and incidental fees upto Rs. 10,000/- per Academic Session. There is two type of scholarship is available under this scheme (i) BPL and (ii) PAP and on the basis of merit, name of 03 Nos. students recommended for the award of this scholarship

24 Indian Oil Education Scholarship Scheme Administrator, M/s ACE Consultants Indian Oil Scholarship Scheme, B-13, DSIDC Complex, Functional Industrial Estate, Patparganj Industrial Area Delhi-110 092. Rs. 3000/- P.M Selection would be on the basis of merit and family’s income. Preference would be given to the candidates whose family’s annual gross income is not more than Rs. 60,000/-.
25 GHES-Scholarship Guru Harikrishan Education Society Chandigarh, Sector 21-A, Chandigarh-160 022 Rs. 600/- P.M B.Tech/B.Arch students whose family income does not exceed Rs.10,000/- PM from all sources. No. of scholarship is restricted to the availability of funds with the society for the purpose.
